Why be excited: Anthony was the fifth player to commit to the Class of 2011 in December 2009. He has excellent footwork and has recently showed improved toughness. At 6-foot-4, 260 pounds, he has excellent athleticism and the frame to put on more weight. He projects as a left tackle.
You may not know: He is the son of former Tiger letterman Vernie Anthony, and has been going to Clemson games since he was a baby.
How he fits into the depth chart: Anthony is expected to redshirt this fall and develop, as virtually all offensive linemen do.
