Brown played most of his first three high school seasons as an offensive tackle, but concentrated on defense as a senior, racking up 88 tackles. He's somewhat of an under-the-radar prospect who has excellent aggressiveness and quickness. He still must pull his grades up to qualify academically this fall.

How he fits into the depth chart: Assuming he makes the grades to qualify academically, Brown is just learning to play defensive tackle. He has good measurables and a good skill set, but could be a bit raw. He might need a year to mature as a redshirt before contributing.
