Why be excited: A jumbo defensive tackle who can rush the quarterback, he can move from sideline to sideline, pursue to the ball and play with excellent technique. He has excellent movement off the ball but is working on his speed.

You may not know: Jarrett's uncle is future NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens. Jarrett worked out with Lewis last summer in Orlando for a week of intense training.

How he fits into the depth chart: With Jarvis Jenkins and Miguel Chavis gone, Jarrett could challenge for time early at defensive tackle this fall.
