Kendall Joseph

Why be excited: Joseph is a hard-hitter with good instincts, top-level strength and solid quickness. He emerged at B-HP as a junior with 129 tackles and six for loss, and after his Clemson commitment, he posted similar numbers in his senior campaign (118 tackles/2 INTs).

You may not know: Joseph was a three-time South Carolina weightlifting champion, listed as bench-pressing 350 and squatting 480 pounds.

How he fits into the depth chart: With a pair of 'backer starters moving on, Joseph will have his chance to play his way onto the field, but he could also benefit from a redshirt much like 2013 linebacker signee Dorian O'Daniel.
