Deshaun Watson

Why be excited: He's widely regarded as the top quarterback in the 2014 class after an incredible four-year run at Gainesville (Ga.), which included a GHSA AAAA championship in 2012. He finished with 13,077 career passing yards with 155 passing scores. Elusive on the run as well, he totaled 4,057 rushing yards and 59 more scores.

Did you know? His high school accolades didn't end off the football field, averaging double-figures as a junior last year in the basketball Red Elephants' run to the state title game. He scored 15 or more points eight times, including 29 versus Salem.

Depth chart fit: Enrolling early and coming off a minor knee injury, Watson is in the playbook early and will get to see how he measures up against junior quarterback Cole Stoudt and redshirt sophomore Chad Kelly. The top talent played all four years at Gainesville and should be coming in with the same mentality this fall.
