Why be excited: Choice brings a combination of speed and power in a compact package, as well as proven leadership qualities, having served as a quarterback in a successful high school program. He's a strong runner with a low center of gravity, precise cutting ability and a knack for bouncing off tackles and getting yards after contact. He has the speed to turn any opening into a big play.
You may not know: Choice is the cousin of former Georgia Tech star Tashard Choice and the nephew of Joe Burns, another star Yellow Jacket running back. He's Thomas County Central's first AJC Elite 11 pick since Ray Drew in 2010.
How he fits into the depth chart: He'll be part of the next generation of Tiger running backs – a group that Dabo Swinney says has All-America potential. He'll arrive next summer along with fellow signees Jae'lon Oglesby and C.J. Fuller, and will compete in a young group that includes Tyshon Dye and Wayne Gallman, along with veterans D.J. Howard, C.J. Davidson and Zac Brooks.
