Why be excited: With all that transpired regarding the Robert Nkemdiche Circus during the 2013 recruiting cycle, Gallman was the first of his Grayson High teammates to commit to Clemson and he stuck with the Tigers "100 percent all the way" after his teammates went their own way. In his own right, he's a tough, determined inside runner who's not afraid to take a hit, or to deliver one - a downhill rusher in the Raymond Priester style. While Clemson recruited him as a running back, he was targeted by others as a linebacker. He's looking at a 205-pound mid-career target weight.
You may not know: Gallman, whose father played football at Florida A&M, played in the Offense-Defense All-America Bowl with fellow Clemson signees Jayron Kearse and Mike Williams.
How he fits into the depth chart: Like Tyshon Dye, Gallman will get an early look to see if he can add to Clemson's backfield mix for 2013.
