Mike Williams

Why be excited: His size and skills are tailor-made for Clemson's offense - a tall pass-catcher with big hands and good speed. He's at his best leaping for the football and exploiting mismatches against smaller defensive backs. He is among the most notable players that Clemson and South Carolina contested during this recruiting cycle. It's always good news when the in-state schools fend off Alabama and Georgia, and then Clemson wins the head-to-head.

You may not know:Williams doesn't lack self-confidence. When in the span of a day Demarcus Robinson signed with Florida and Ryan Jenkins flipped from Clemson to Tennessee, Williams tweeted 'Clemson Fans don't stress over them decommits, you still have Mike Williams.'

How he fits into the depth chart: He, like Kyrin Priester, will be an option for playing time next fall.
