Jordan Leggett

Why be excited:Chad Morris singled Leggett out early as a player he wanted to play the hybrid wide receiver-tight end role in his offense. At 6-6, he has the frame to develop into a Dwayne Allen-type match-up problem for opposing defenses.

You may not know: Leggett, who has been committed to the Tigers for almost a year, also drew recruiting attention as a defensive end.

How he fits into the depth chart: By enrolling early, Leggett will have a chance to compete with redshirt freshman Jay Jay McCullough this spring for next-in-line at tight end behind Sam Cooper and Stanton Seckinger.
