Why be excited: At a time last summer when the Tigers were reeling in defensive ends, Rogers jumped on board. Now, with Robert Nkemdiche and Elijah Daniel off the board, he joins Shaq Lawson and Ebenezer Ogundeko as part of a high-end trio expected to make an early impact. Rogers is now pushing 260 pounds and has the potential to play at 275.
You may not know: He's the cousin of Clemson rising sophomore defensive tackle Carlos Watkins.
How he fits into the depth chart: He's part of the Tigers' next wave of defensive ends, along with Lawson, Ogundeko and redshirt freshmen Martin Aiken. At least two will likely play next season.
