After all he's been through, any time that Jaron Blossomgame goes down, it's a scary time.

Especially when the limb in question is the leg that was severely broken and twice required surgery.

The positive initial diagnosis for Blossomgame's leg was confirmed on Wednesday, when x-rays showed no break, but only a bruise, after the Tigers' redshirt freshman went down against Georgia State.

"We’re optimistic that nothing is wrong," coach Brad Brownell said Tuesday night. "I know it scared him so we’re going to x-ray him and hope he's OK."

Later last night, Blossomgame tweeted that the injury "looked a lot worst than it actually was! No worries."
