We’ve gone into detail on one angle from Vegas, but Friday, Golden Nugget Casino released their top games of the year, which included all of Clemson’s FBS matchups minus Georgia State and Syracuse.

Differing from our first look is the season-closer, where instead of pick’em Golden Nugget has South Carolina as favored by three points. They also have Georgia up by one more point (-9).

By the odds, Clemson is expected to go 9-3 (7-1 ACC).

Clemson’s Golden Nugget Odds

at Georgia (+9)

at Florida State (+17)

UNC (-4)

N.C. State (-23)

Louisville (-10)

at Boston College (-18)

at Wake Forest (Thursday, -20)

at Georgia Tech (-6)

South Carolina (+3)

Notes

• Florida State is favored by at least two touchdowns in every game – by nearly 20 points per in the eight games GN listed.

• Georgia is favored in all but their matchup at South Carolina (+3). The Gamecocks are favored everywhere but at Auburn (+7).

• Oregon is the PAC-12 favorite essentially with a 10-point edge on Stanford, with Ohio State (Big Ten), Alabama (SEC) and Oklahoma (Big 12) taking the other Big Five titles.

A lot of us are starved for football "stuff." But, come on, the guys calculating odds probably can't name most of the starters for the teams involved it's so early. It's about as useful as a Twitter opinion right now.

Bet Clemson plus 9 over UGA and go ahead and spend your money. I would bet Louisville and maybe N.C. State getting those points...maybe. Plus 17 against FSU is a wait and see what happens in Athens kind of thing. I just don't see how Georgia can give Clemson anything close to that many points.

You are right about the lines this early in the summer. They could possibly have the UGA, FSU and SC games on somebody's board but, Clemson won't be a 24 point underdog at one betting place and be a 17 point dog at another. If so , you could get rich betting both sides of the games and the game falls between these numbers you win both bets. It is a better dream to middle a game. It happens very seldom and there is a reason for that and most people don't have to be told. I would love to get in the middle of a 17 and 24 point game but it is impossible you will see that the week of the game.
