As school started this semester, Clemson added three talented receivers in early-enrollees Demarre Kitt, Artavis Scott and Kyrin Priester.
Sunday, Hillside (N.C.) 4-star receiver Trevion Thompson decided to join one of the top incoming receiver units nationally, committing after taking his official visit this weekend in TigerTown.
Thompson, a high school teammate of sophomore Clemson DB Korrin Wiggins, picked the Tigers over offers from Ohio State, N.C. State, West Virginia and California among more.
The 6-3 product was a Shrine Bowl selection and was impressive all week in Spartanburg, finishing with five catches for 37 yards in the game. He totaled 57 catches for 987 yards and 14 touchdowns his senior season.
Thompson is rated as high as the No. 15 WR (by Scout), joining the group of four-star mid-year enrollees.
Clemson's 2014 commit total is now 19.
