Injured knee or bruised thigh - whatever C.J. Spiller's injury turned out to be, he plans to be on the field on Sunday when the Buffalo Bills take on the Baltimore Ravens.

The former Clemson star was ineffective and then left the game early during the Bills' game against the New York Jets on Sunday.

His injury was first described as an injured knee, but then on Monday Bills' coach Doug Marrone described the problem as a bruised thigh.

Spiller explained that after suffering the injury, he didn't have much explosiveness in his legs.

"I felt like I couldn't get any power,” said Spiller, who will get treatment this week and test out his leg at Wednesday's practice. “The best thing was to swallow my pride and sit."

Against the Jets, Spiller gained just nine rushing yards on 10 carries. He also caught one pass for one yard.
