Tigers debut at No. 3 in new BCS human poll

CLEMSON – The top-five showdown is on.

Clemson (6-0) maintained its spot at No. 3 in the AP Poll and debuted at No. 3 in the new Harris Interactive Top 25, but a Utah upset of Stanford catapulted this week’s opponent, Florida State (5-0), to No. 5.

Miami (5-0) also moved into the top-10.

The rest of the best in the AP: Alabama (6-0), Oregon (6-0), Clemson, Ohio State (6-0), Florida State, LSU (6-1), Texas A&M (5-1), Louisville (6-0), UCLA (5-0), Miami.

The rest of the best in the Harris (BCS poll): Alabama, Oregon, Clemson, Ohio State, Florida State, Louisville, Texas A&M, LSU, UCLA, Miami.

In the AP, South Carolina (5-1) sits just outside at No. 11, while Georgia (4-2) dropped to No. 15 after their loss to Missouri. Virginia Tech rounds out the ACC reps at No. 19.

After holding a tie for No. 3 with Ohio State last week in the Coaches Poll (BCS poll), the Buckeyes moved into sole possession of the spot this week.
