Five Clemson-bound high school seniors have been chosen to play in this year's Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.

Players committed to Clemson who were named to the South Carolina squad on Thursday were running back Jae'lon Oglesby of Daniel High, linebacker Kendall Joseph of Belton-Honea Path, and kicker Alex Spence of West Florence.

Named to the North Carolina team were defensive lineman Jabril Robinson of North Brunswick High in Hope Mills and linebacker Chris Register of Dudley High in Greensboro.

Remaining Clemson recruiting targets who were chosen for the game include wide receiver Trevion Thompson of Hillside High in Durham, N.C., offensive lineman Donnel Stanley of Latta, S.C., and defensive end Lorenzo Featherston of Page High in Greensboro, N.C.

Oglesby's Daniel High teammate, linebacker Solomon Brown, was also named to the S.C. squad.
