Dabo Swinney says that increasingly, at more than one position, it doesn't matter who's in the game for his Tigers.

The coaches' confidence in their depth is beginning to show up each week in the player participation chart, particularly at the defensive end, defensive tackle and wide receiver positions.

Clemson's defensive linemen split snaps relatively evenly against Syracuse. At defensive end, starters Vic Beasley and Corey Crawford led the way with 43 and 42 snaps, respectively, but Shaq Lawson and Tavaris Barnes were right behind with 35 and 32.

At defensive tackle, four players again saw 30 or more snaps, led by Grady Jarrett with 41. Josh Watson had 38, DeShawn Williams 31, and D.J. Reader 30.

At wide receiver, Adam Humphries topped the group with 47 snaps, followed by freshmen Mike Williams (38) and Germone Hopper (35). Sammy Watkins and Martavis Bryant played 31 snaps each.

Eight players saw a season-high in snaps: offensive tackle Shaq Anthony with 66, running back Zac Brooks with 24, Lawson with 35, linebacker Stephone Anthony with 77, and defensive backs Martin Jenkins (52), Robert Smith (72), and Jayron Kearse (75).
