Scouting Boston College: trouble spots for the Tigers
RB Andre Williams: He's the ACC's leading rusher, and has five 100-yard games in his last six times out. He's coming off a career-best 263-yard, five-touchdown performance against Army.
DE Kasim Edebali: He's the Eagles' most dangerous pass rusher, and has 4.5 sacks already this season.
WR-KR Spiffy Evans: He's a sure-handed pass catcher and a dynamic punt returner.
Myles Willis: He was a thorn in FSU's side, with 211 all-purpose yards, including a 71-yard kickoff return and four catches for 69 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown.
Nate Freese: The Lou Groza Award candidate is 6-of-6 on field goals so far this season, and is averaging 42.9 yards per punt. For his career, he's 56 of 67 on field goals.
Veteran Offensive Line: With five starters back up front, the offensive line is one of BC's strengths. The five players who'll start against the Tigers have combined for 92 career starts, and they're currently paving the way for the ACC's top rusher.
LB Kevin Pierre-Louis: The preseason All-ACC pick leads the team in tackles with 8.0 per game. He's coming off an ACC linebacker of the week performance against Army.
LB Steele Divitto: The other half of BC's senior linebacker duo, he's averaging 7.8 tackles and has started 30 straight games.
QB Chase Rettig: He's a four-year starter whose game at Clemson will be his 39th career start. He passed for over 3,000 yards last season, and had three TD tosses against the Tigers. He completed 11-of-13 for over 200 yards last week.
WR Alex Amidon: He's closing in on the Boston College career receiving yardage record. He had 32 catches in the team's first four games, and teamed up with Rettig for a career-best 68-yard completion last week.
CB Manuel Asprilla: A second-year starter, he broke up five passes last season and had a pick against FSU.
