A report by CBSSports.com describes Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich as "the leader in the clubhouse" to serve as the ACC's representative on the selection committee for the College Football Playoff, which is set to begin in 2014.
The committee, which is expected to be comprised of about a dozen members, will include a current athletic director from each of the five major conferences: the ACC, the SEC, the Big 12, the Big Ten and the Pac-12.
Named as the likely representative from the Big 12 is West Virginia athletic director Oliver Luck.
The makeup of the committee is expected to be announced by the end of this year.
Radakovich is in his second year as Clemson's athletic director, after serving the previous six years as AD at Georgia Tech.
