A weekly look inside the numbers of Clemson football…

Clemson football by the numbers (through 10 games)

.000 - Paul Johnson's success rate on fourth down versus Brent Venables' defense, 0-for-3 over the last two seasons.

2 - Two of the six times in Clemson history that there's been two 100-yard receivers in a single game for the Tigers...have come this season. Sammy Watkins and Adam Humphries did it first against Syracuse (combined 34.9 yards per catch) and then Watkins and Bryant Thursday (combined 28 YPC).

6 - The Tiger offense has had six scoring drives of at least 40 yards and under three minutes in the last two games. They've done it three times this season (also did so against Wake Forest) and 17 in the current three-game winning streak.

12 - Tajh Boyd has 12 touchdown throws of 40 or more yards this season, equaling last year's mark with two games and a bowl left. He had three alone on Thursday and a season-high four at Syracuse.

13 - Clemson extended the longest active interception streak in the FBS (13) via Bashaud Breeland's fourth-quarter pick. Breeland has four interceptions to lead the Tigers, after zero picks his sophomore season (six in his career now).

13.1 - Boyd averaged 13.1 yards per pass attempt against the Jackets, the third-highest in his career. He has hit double-digits in YPA in four games this season, five times last year and 10 total.

13.5 - Georgia Tech had at least one playmaker out there in senior Robert Godhigh, who averaged 13.5 yards per in 17 touches (12 carries, 5 catches). He is averaging 11.1 yards per carry this season to lead the nation.

16 - Senior linebacker Quandon Christian had as many snaps any Tiger versus the Jackets going into Thursday (166), and in back-to-back games, he's had eight tackles per game with four tackles for loss. Eight tackles is his career-high, which he's hit three times.

18 - Clemson averaged 18 yards better in field position, starting around its 38 typically to Georgia Tech starting at their 20. The Yellow Jackets began drives inside their 20 four of the first five drives and 5-of-7 in the first half.

19.5 The Tigers have won three-straight by 19.5 points a game at home versus Coastal rival Georgia Tech.

24 - Chandler Catanzaro hit two 40-yard field goals versus the Jackets, including a career-long (51), to set the Clemson career record (24). He's hit multiple 40-yard field goals six times in his career.

34:28 - The Yellow Jackets like to control the clock, but they haven't had much success this season, dropping to 4-4 with at least 30 minutes of possession.

73 - Clemson has scored touchdowns on eight of their last 11 red zone trips versus Virginia and Georgia Tech (73 percent). The Tigers' red zone TD percentage was 47.3 in the previous four games.
