Easley running back C.J. Fuller, a three-star rated prospect, committed to Clemson Monday for the 2014 class.
Fuller rushed for 2,088 yards in his junior season and over 2,700 in the last two years with 26 scores.
He is the Tigers’ sixth 2014 commitment and the second tailback in the class, joining fellow Upstate product Jae’lon Oglesby (Daniel).
Fuller is rated only as a defensive back by recruiting sites so far – No. 56 overall by 247Sports and No. 75 at Scout.
He was recruited as a running back primarily though by Clemson, by running backs coach Tony Elliott along with Chad Morris. Fuller was offered by both N.C State and UNC this year.
All of the Tigers’ 2014 pledges are on the offensive side of the ball, in recent commit Milan Richard (tight end), Cannon Smith (tight end), Taylor Hearn (offensive tackle), Deshaun Watson (quarterback) and Oglesby.
