Spartanburg, S.C. -Former Clemson and North Greenville quarterback Willy Korn, who starred as a high school player at Byrnes, will be named the new wide receivers coach at Charleston Southern, according to low country reports.

Korn will work under new Bucs head coach Jamie Chadwell, who coached Korn in 2010 and 2011 at North Greenville. He landed at North Greenville after spending a few months at Marshall during the summer of 2010. He battled for the starting quarterback job at Clemson between 2007 and 2009. At Byrnes, he guided the Rebels to state titles in his sophomore and junior seasons of 2004 and 2005.

Korn recently announced plans to play with an arena team in Arizona. It's not clear how this move impacts that commitment.
