Clemson is holding the latest in its series of 'junior days' on Saturday, in conjunction with a Youth Day event and the Tigers' third practice of spring drills.
On hand for a first-hand look at the football program will be more than a dozen 2014 prospects, including committed tight end Cannon Smith of Columbia, S.C., who recently picked up an offer from Alabama.
The 2014 group is heavy on defensive prospects, including defensive backs Quintin Turner and Wesley Green from Lithonia, Ga., C.J. Reavis from Chester, Va., Cameron Glenn of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Allen Artis from Marietta, Ga.; defensive linemen Zeek Rodney from Rock Hill, S.C., Lamont Gaillard from Fayetteville, N.C., K.J. Ford from Bluffton, S.C., and Messiah Rice from Orangeburg, S.C.
Also visiting will be tight end/defensive end Kalan Richie of Goose Creek, S.C., wide receiver Anthony Johnson of Rock Hill, running back Donte Williams of Durham, N.C., and linebackers Ray Tillman of Lithonia, Ga., and Cayson Collins of Charlotte, N.C.
Several 2015 prospects are also scheduled to be in attendance, including defensive ends Albert Huggins of Orangeburg, S.C., Andrew Butcher of Alpharetta, Ga., and Shameik Blackshear of Bluffton, S.C.
