Georgia has lost another defensive back, as the school confirmed on Friday that freshman safety Paris Bostick has undergone surgery on his left big toe and will redshirt for the 2013 season.

Bostick is Georgia's second true freshman defensive back to be lost for the year while recovering for surgery. Cornerback Reggie Wilkerson, an early enrollee who had worked himself into a backup role at corner, suffered an ACL injury during workouts this summer and also will be redshirted.

Earlier, starting strong safety Josh Harvey-Clemons was suspended for the Bulldogs' opener against Clemson.

Georgia, which like Clemson signed eight defensive backs in February, is counting on freshmen to shore up its secondary this fall.

If we are lucky, maybe they won't have enough players and can only have 3 DB's on the field at one time. I bet Sammy and the boys could catch a whole bunch of passes if that's true. Yea, I feel like coach will lose his mind around 7:45 p.m. on August 31 and decide to play us with 3 DB's. What a sport!!!
