Former Clemson golfer Ben Martin is in a Monday morning playoff for his first Web.com Tour title.
Martin, who has been knocking on the door of his first professional victory for weeks, shot a five-under par 67 on Sunday in the rain-plagued United Leasing Championship at Newburgh, Indiana, and pulled into a four-way tie at 11-under with Ashley Hall, Joe Affrunti, and third-round leader Billy Hurley.
The four-way playoff matches the largest in Web.com Tour history.
Martin, who entered the tournament ranked 21st on the Web.com Tour money list, is trying to regain the PGA Tour card he earned as a rookie. The top 25 on the money list automatically earn cards for 2014.
