It was a Black Friday for Clemson's golfers on the Web.com and eGolf Professional Tours.
Four of Clemson's five-man contingent in the Panama Claro Championship failed to make the cut - the exception being Ben Martin, who carded his second straight 71 and is in 42nd place, nine shots out of the lead held by Dae-Hyun Kim.
Missing the cut at Panama Golf Club were Sam Saunders (73-72), Danny Ellis (69-76), Brian Duncan (76-69) and Phillip Mollica (72-77).
In the eGolf Tour's Oldfield Open at Okatie, S.C., cold, wet weather sent scores soaring. Stephen Poole, who entered Friday's third round in the top five, struggled to a 78 and dropped out of contention.
He's now tied with David May for 27th place at even-par. May shot a 75 on Friday, following up on rounds of 71-70.
Tied for 34th are McCuen Elmore (72-70-76) and Tommy Biershenk (70-71-77), while Tanner Ervin (75-67-80) is in 52nd place.
