Let the show begin!

ESPNU will go straight to the top of the national recruiting list Wednesday morning when defensive end Robert Nkemdiche makes his school choice announcement at 7:35 a.m.

The coverage of the nation's No. 1 prospect will kick off a day-long series of nationally-televised announcements, ending with Tyrone Crowder's announcement between Clemson and Georgia at 4:05 p.m.

Of players of interest to Clemson, No. 1 defensive tackle Montravius Adams will announce at 9:45 p.m., from among Clemson, Georgia, Alabama and Auburn.

Cornerback Mackensie Alexander will announce at 11:15 a.m. from a group of finalists that is thought to include Clemson, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Auburn.

In addition to its announcement coverage, ESPN will have reporters on-site at 13 schools, including Clemson, for updates as signing day progresses.

Locally, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is expected to meet with the media mid-afternoon to discuss the Tigers' recruiting class.

And later that evening, Swinney and his staff will participate in the annual Fort Hill Clemson Club Recruiting Wrap-up.

The program will include dinner (beginning at 6 p.m.), highlight videos and a question-and-answer session with Swinney. There will also be door prizes and a live auction that will include items such as dinner with the football team, a round of golf with men's basketball coach Brad Brownell, and dinner with offensive and defensive coordinators Chad Morris and Brent Venables.

All proceeds from the event go directly to scholarships for local high school students attending Clemson University. Tickets are available for $30 at Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative offices in Pickens, Westminster and Anderson, at Mr.Knickerbocker's in Clemson and Greenville, or online for $35 via the Fort Hill Clemson Club's Facebook page.
