Clemson's Sammy Watkins has been named to CBSSports.com's preseason All-America first team.
Watkins is one of three receivers honored, joining Alabama's Amari Cooper and Southern California's Marquis Lee, both of whom were unanimous picks. Others unanimously selected by the CBS panel were South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan, Stanford offensive guard David Yankey, and Notre Dame defensive tackle Louis Nix.
Watkins was the only ACC player named to the first team.
The ACC had four second-team selections - Florida State center Bryan Stork and cornerback Lamarcus Joyner, North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron, and Maryland kick returner Stefon Diggs.
