Player Notes

*Tajh Boyd threw two touchdown passes in the first half and now has 48 for his career, just one short of Charlie Whitehurst’s career record of 49. Whitehurst, now with the San Diego Chargers, played for the Tigers between 2002-05.

*Boyd completed each of his last six passes of the first half for 53 yards and a touchdown. He was 10 for his last 11, with the only incompletion an interception.

*Boyd’s last touchdown of the first half went to Brandon Ford. It was his fourth touchdown of the season. He has caught a touchdown pass in three consecutive games, tying a Clemson record held by many.

*Chandler Catanzaro made a 28-yard field goal in the first half, his 16th consecutive made field goal. He already has the Clemson record for that category.
