Scouting Ball State: notes & numbers...

Ball State has been bowl-eligible four times in the past 10 seasons, including last year - Pete Lembo's first as head coach.

The Cardinals appeared on television eight times last season, and 24 times over the past three years.

Pete Lembo was 44-14 as head coach at Lehigh and 35-22 as head coach at Elon.

Clemson and Ball State have two previous meetings - a 24-10 Clemson win in 1992 and a 30-7 Tiger victory in 2002.
