Play concluded at the Duckworth Family Fall Tennis Classic on Sunday at Clemson's Hoke Sloan Tennis Center. The three-day event featured more than 20 men's and women's teams, and a total of 16 singles and eight doubles flight champions were crowned.

Sunday featured the singles finals in both men's and women's play, following the doubles championships, which came on Saturday. All told, 288 matches were contested over the course of the event.

Three Clemson players claimed flight titles while competing 'unattached.' Jessy Rompies and Romy Koelzer claimed the top two women's singles flights, and they teamed to win the No. 1 doubles flight. Austin Ansari won the men's No. 2 singles flight.

"I've been here 16 seasons, and this is the largest collegiate tennis tournament that I've seen at Clemson," said women's head coach Nancy Harris. "The enthusiasm and appreciation from the student-athletes that participated really says it all. They love the event, and seem to want to come back. They have really felt the spirit of the great Clemson hospitality, and have felt the generous spirit of the Duckworth family...

"Ed and Jane (Duckworth) have been out here during the tournament, and have watched the play throughout the tournament. The Pavilion is accomplishing what they had hoped for. It's a place for great tennis viewing, meeting, and that's a great thing. The format had more than 100 participants, and everyone got three matches in singles and doubles, so that every competitor that leaves here today will have more experience that they had just a week ago."

The Clemson teams will be in action this week at the ITA Carolina Regional Championships.
