Martavis Bryant and D.J. Howard are back at practice this week, able to "do pretty much everything," Dabo Swinney said after the Tigers' workout Wednesday.
That may put them in better shape than some of their teammates.
"We're pretty beat up," Swinney said. "We have a long list of guys with bruises and bumps and pains. We've played six ball games and we've had two weeks of live practice.
"Defensively, it's like we played three games last week."
Swinney said that after two weeks of live tackling, the Tigers have backed off this week.
"We've been all 'thud' this week," he said. "We're good-on-good like we always do, but we're not going to the ground right now."
Bryant has missed the past two games after undergoing emergency surgery to repair a groin injury. He had two receptions, both for touchdowns, in Clemson's first four games.
Howard missed the Georgia Tech game with a shoulder injury. He's also played in four games and has carried the ball 11 times for 45 yards.

It's a development curve.
We've graduated from the "late/great TB's" bumper-car "tackling" to "catch and release"'
But at least we're making progress.
