Nine Tigers see season-highs in playing time in victory over Eagles

Nine members of the Clemson football team logged season highs in playing time during last week's 45-31 victory over Boston College.

In Sammy Watkins' absence, Adam Humphries worked in a four-man rotation with DeAndre Hopkins, Jaron Brown and Charone Peake and played a season-high 41 snaps. Also seeing his most significant action of the season was Matt Porter, with 19 snaps.

In the defensive secondary, Garry Peters nearly tripled his previous season snap total with 40 plays. He is scheduled to start this week for the first time against Georgia Tech. Also with a season-high 70 snaps was Bashaud Breeland, who surpassed his previous high total by 13.

Tight ends Brandon Ford (75) and Sam Cooper (17) had season highs, as did fullback Darrell Smith (8).

Also topping out for the season were defensive linemen Josh Watson (52) and Grady Jarrett (48).
