If needed, the Tigers should be well prepared to go the distance on both sides of the ball Saturday night against South Carolina.

Many Clemson players saw a season high in snaps last week against N.C. State, as the Tigers hit a season-high 102 offensive plays. Four of Clemson's five starting offensive linemen played all 102 snaps - the exception being David Beasley (85), who was subbed by Kalon Davis and Ryan Norton.

Tajh Boyd played all but one snap for the offense, while fullback Darrell Smith played a season-high 20 snaps.

On defense, starting linebackers Spencer Shuey (83) and Tig Willard (83) rarely came off the field. The same was true of the starting secondary of Jonathan Meeks, Rashard Hall and Xavier Brewer (all 88 snaps each) and Garry Peters (83).

Overall, the Tigers used a pared-down lineup of 21 offensive players and 21 defensive players against N.C. State. Fourteen Tigers saw action on special teams only.
