Clemson's Tajh Boyd and Brandon Ford have been named national players of the week by College Football Performance Awards.
Boyd was named quarterback of the week. Earlier Sunday he was honored as Walter Camp national offensive player of the week. He accounted for eight touchdowns and a set a new school total offense record in Clemson's 62-48 victory over N.C. State on Saturday.
Ford was named national tight end of the week. He caught two touchdown passes against the Wolfpack, and tied Dwayne Allen's record for TD receptions in a season by a Clemson tight end. He now has eight. Ford went over the 100-yard mark in receiving yardage against State.
In addition, sophomore defensive end Vic Beasley was an honorable mention national defensive lineman of the week.
