Devin Booker and Josh Smith will not play in Monday’s men’s basketball exhibition contest against Lander due to violation of team rules. Head Coach Brad Brownell made the announcement Monday morning.
Booker, a senior from Whitmire, SC, is Clemson’s leading returning scorer (10.5 points per game) and rebounder (7.0 per game). Smith is a 6-foot-8 freshman forward out of Olympic High School in Charlotte, NC.
Both players will be available in the regular season opener against Presbyterian College on Monday, Nov. 12.
