Clemson-bound running back Wayne Gallman scored three touchdowns, including an interception return for a score, in leading Grayson High (Loganville, Ga.) to a 48-0 victory over Archer Thursday night.
Starting at linebacker for a defense that recorded its school-record fourth straight shutout, Gallman helped the Rams shut down Archer running back Sean Fowler, who came into the game as the nation's fourth leading high school rusher. He was held to just 40 yards on 25 carries.
Gallman, who earlier in the game had scored on runs of one and 10 yards, stepped in front of a pass and returned it 57 yards for a touchdown, as Grayson rolled to a 48-0 lead at the end of the third quarter.
Robert Nkemdiche also scored on an eight-yard for Grayson.
