Schedule Notes: After opening at home against Georgia State on Nov. 9, the Blue Devils will play Kentucky in the State Farm Champions Classic in Atlanta on Dec. 13. Other non-league highlights include games against Minnesota, Ohio State and Temple.

Coach Mike Krzyzewski

Entering the 2012-13 season, Mike Krzyzewski owns a 927-291 (.761) career record in 37 years of coaching, including a 854-232 (.786) mark in 32 seasons at Duke ... Krzyzewski is the all-time leader in career men's Division I coaching victories, having surpassed his college coach and mentor Bob Knight's prevous record of 902 earlier last season ... named ACC Coach of the Year five times and National Coach of the Year 12 times in eight different years, Krzyzewski has directed the Blue Devils to 10 ACC titles in the past 14 years and 13 times overall - tied for best in league history ... Krzyzewski's Blue Devils have won four NCAA titles (1991, 1992, 2001 and 2010) ... he owns an NCAA-record 12 30-win seasons and 27 seasons with 20 or more wins, including 11 straight 20-win seasons from 1984 to 1994, averaging 28.3 wins in the process ... Duke's total of 37 wins in 1999 matched its own 1986 standard for most victories in a season in NCAA history ... Krzyzewski is only the second coach in NCAA history to take his team to five straight Final Fours (1988-92) and also made it to the Final Four in 1986, 1994, 1999, 2001, 2004 and 2010 ... he has guided the Blue Devils to postseason play in 29 of his 32 seasons, including an active streak of 17 consecutive NCAA appearances ... Krzyzewski is the nation's all-time leader with 79 NCAA Tournament wins and has a 79-24 (.767) mark in NCAA Tournament games ... Seth Curry, Sr., Guard

Earned third-team All-ACC honors a year ago after finishing second on the team and 13th in the ACC in scoring (13.2) ... led the ACC and was 22nd nationally in free throw percentage (.873) ... one of two Blue Devils to average over 30 minutes per game in 2012 ... had 22 double-figure scoring games a year ago, including four outings with 20 or more points ... in two years with the Blue Devils, is shooting .408 from behind the arc (128-of-314) and .837 from the charity stripe (170-of-203).

Mason Plumlee, Sr., Center

A third-team All-ACC selection as a junior in 2012 ... was third in the ACC in double-doubles (12), fourth in rebounds (9.2), fifth in blocked shots (1.6) and fifth in offensive rebounds (2.9) ... a CoSIDA Academic All-America and a member of the 2012 All-ACC Academic team ... tied for third in the ACC with 16 games of 10-or-more rebounds ... over the last five games of the season averaged 13.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots while shooting .667 from the floor.

Ryan Kelly, Sr., Forward

Averaged career-bests in points (11.8), rebounds (5.4) and minutes played (25.9) in 2012 ... finished ninth in the ACC in free throw percentage (.807) and 17th in both scoring and rebounds ... one of four Blue Devils to average in double figures ... had 18 games with 10-or-more points and turned in double-doubles against Penn (J1) and Wake Forest (J19) ... missed Duke's two ACC Tournament games and the NCAA Tournament loss to Lehigh with an ankle sprain.

Tyler Thornton, Jr., Guard

Started the last 13 games of the season, 19 times overall ... averaged 4.1 points, 2.0 assists and 1.9 rebounds while playing in all 34 games ... averaged 31.0 minutes, 7.0 points and 2.3 assists over the last six games of the season ... had a 2.02:1 assists to turnover ratio (69:34) ... played 10 minutes or more in all but one game a year ago.

Quinn Cook, So., Guard

A two-time ACC Rookie of the Week selection in 2012 ... averaged 4.4 points and 1.9 assists as a freshman ... had an impressive 3.50:1 assists-to-turnover ratio with 63 assists and only 18 turnovers.

Josh Hairston, Jr., Forward

Averaged 1.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 28 games as a freshman ... posted season highs in points (7) and rebounds (4) against Virginia Tech on Feb. 4.
