— Clemson women’s tennis players combined for a 9-0 doubles mark and a 15-2 singles ledger on their way to three doubles and five singles flight championships at the three-day Clemson Winter Indoor Classic, which concluded Sunday. The tournament featured Troy, Armstrong Atlantic, Clemson, and Charleston Southern.

Clemson’s Keri Wong won the top singles and doubles flight championship, going 3-0 in each for the win. She paired with Beatrice Gumulya in doubles, who won flight two singles in her collegiate debut. Klara Vyskocilova earned the flight three singles championship, while Romy Kölzer and Monika Kochanova claimed flights five and six, respectively.

Kochanova and Vyskocilova were 3-0 on their way to the flight three doubles title, while Kölzer and Ciolkowski claimed the flight two doubles title.

Wong improved to 13-4 in her singles play this season and 9-0 in 2012, and also moved into second all-time in career doubles wins at Clemson with nos. 105, 106, and 107. Josipa Bek (110) is the all-time leader. The senior played in one doubles match on the weekend, a win with Kölzer.

Kölzer also stayed perfect in her young career, upping her record to 8-0 this season. Klara Vyskocilova is now 8-1 in the dual match season and 12-3 overall.

Clemson will play ten of the next 11 matches away from home. The next action is in Charlottesville, VA, as Clemson will open with No. 8 Michigan in the Round of 16 at the ITA Team National Indoor Championships from Feb. 10-13.
