- LSU is making a school-record 13th consecutive bowl appearance.

- Coach Les Miles has six 10-win seasons in eight years at LSU, joining Bear Bryant, Steve Spurrier, Phillip Fulmer, Mark Richt and Vince Dooley as the only SEC coaches to have six or more 10-win seasons at the same school.

- Since 2005, LSU is 36-1 against non-SEC opponents, with the only loss coming to Penn State in the 2010 Capital One Bowl. The Tigers have won 41 straight regular-season non-conference games.

- LSU has been nationally-ranked for 63 straight weeks - second nationally only to Alabama.

- Forbes lists the net worth of the LSU football program at $102 million, which leads the SEC and ranks fourth nationally behind Texas, Michigan and Notre Dame.
