— Three members of the Clemson women’s tennis team closed play at the Furman Fall Classic in Greenville, SC on Sunday. Clemson’s Klara Vyskocilova defeated Lauren McHale in the fifth place match, 6-1, 6-2 to highlight play.

Sophomore Monika Kochanova fell in the flight six championship match, 7-6(3), 6-4 to Jose Andersson of South Carolina after winning her first two outing on Saturday. Finally, Keri Wong dropped a 6-1, 7-5 decision to Zoe DeBruycker of North Carolina, the nation’s sixth-ranked singles player, at flight one.

Wong, Kochanova, Vyskocilova, and Josipa Bek will travel to the ITA/Riviera Women’s All-American Championships at the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, CA from Oct. 1-9. Bek has a spot in the main draw of singles, while Wong will play in the qualifying round, and Vyskocilova and Kochanova will play in the prequalifying rounds. Draws will be released early in the week.
