Tiger men's soccer comes from behind to tie East Tennessee State 1-1

JOHNSON CITY, TN--Clemson and East Tennessee State played to a 1-1 tie in a men's intercollegiate soccer match at Johnson City, TN Monday night.

With the tie, Clemson is now 5-8-1 on the year, while East Tennessee State is now 8-5-3 this season.

The Buccaneers scored first in the 10th minute. Itode Fubara won a ball and dribbled down the left side. He sent a pass to David Geno whose shot found the netting for his seventh goal of the year.

Austin Savage scored early in the second half during the 47th minute of play. Metcalf crossed the ball and Austin Savage was there to head the ball in the goal for his fifth tally of the season.

Clemson will play host to Maryland on Friday night at 7 p.m. at Riggs Field.
