Scouting NC State: trouble spots for the Tigers…

KR-WR T.J. Graham: He needs 29 yards to break the ACC record for career kickoff return yardage, and he leads the ACC in both punt returns and kickoff returns this season. He also serves as the Wolfpack’s big-play pass-catcher. Earlier this season he became the first State receiver since Jeremiah Cotchery to record three straight 100-yard receiving games.

DB David Amerson: He leads the nation in interceptions with 10, which has broken a 73-year-old NC State season record. He was just named as a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award.

DB: Brandan Bishop: When teams have played away from Amerson, they’ve run into similar difficulty with Bishop, who ranks third in the ACC with four picks.

LB Audie Cole: A semifinalist for the Butkus Award, Cole leads the Wolfpack in tackles, and had a career-high 16 against both Georgia Tech and Cincinnati. He has nine tackles for loss and four sacks.

TE George Bryan: He has caught more passes than any tight end in NC State history.

QB Mike Glennon: He can’t match Russell Wilson’s numbers at Wisconsin, but he’s had a good season in his own right. His 20 TD passes mark the fifth highest season total in Wolfpack history, trailing only Philip Rivers and Wilson.

RB James Washington: He leads the Wolfpack in rushing and also ranks among the team’s leaders in pass receptions.

WR Tobias Palmer: He’s caught 28 passes for a 12.1 average and two touchdowns.

DB Earl Wolff: He ranks second on the team in tackles.

LB Terrell Manning: He’s second on the team in quarterback sacks.
