Quarterback is the least of our problems.

There is a giant problem at Clemson and Brent Venables didn't fix it. Clemson has a very poor defense. Their pass defense is poor.

I'm not smart enough to know the answer to this question:
Why is it important to wait until the QB is actually calling out the signals before the defense knows whether to blitz or not? And why is it necessary to have a defensive scheme so complicated that it would keep the most talented players on the bench?
Kevin Steele had a rubic's cube defense that was successful in keeping WVA from scoring 71 points against us in the Orange Bowl. The players were confused.

Seems the same thing is happening now. South Carolina controlled the ball for almost the entire third quarter. And most of the fourth.

Are Clemson's players THAT bad? Or is their DC an overpaid, overhyped incompetent? If it's the latter, then buy him out and let one of the other coaches call the shots. Or get a high school coach who is successful come in. Worked with Chad.

Pete Rose was asked by a reporter whether he 'understood' baseball well enough to manage and play at the same time. He replied that after the double switch in replacing pitchers there really isn't anything to think about. It's a game.
Same here....Football is just a game.

And if the DC is overcomplicating the defense, were losing because of that. Dabo needs to look at that and if so, do what he did at the OC position...and with Kevin Steele.
